For the past 20 years we have offered a wonderfully, exciting family adventure. We love seeing our friends (customers) returning year after year, no matter what the weather, to take a hayride, and choose and cut a tree. Great family time!
It's easy. It's fun. It's family time! Bring your family and friends for a REAL Christmas experience. You can have a family reunion, church-group retreat, or just come with your family. Don't forget your camera to take your Christmas picture on the hayride or in the tree field.Our 20th year of offering fun and excitement for you and your family
Come dressed for outdoor fun! The experience includes an exciting hayride to the trees, choosing and cutting your tree (you actually bond with your tree), watching us bale your tree, and riding the hayride back to the barn and relaxing with cider or coffee. We, then, transport your tree from the field to your car. The last step is to tie your tree(s) on your car. Many visitors travel long distances and make it safely back home with their trees and wreathes. Many visitors also take their family Christmas photo as they choose their tree.
Family Fun You'll Never Forget
First thing-- check in at the christmas shop in our barn. Warm up by a pot-belly wood stove, with complementary Christmas cider or coffee. Get envigorated for the experience of choosing and cutting your very own Christmas tree. Sing Christmas carols and have fun as the hayride takes you through the woods to the tree field.
Cost for hayride and tree:
Included in the experience are: a hayride through the woods for your whole family, complementary cider and coffee, music, singing carols, and (up to) a 7-foot Fraser Fir Christmas tree--all for $50.00. A second 7-foot tree costs $45. (Mention this website and take 10% off.) Larger trees are also available at $8 for each additional foot over 7 feet.
Our wreaths and garland start at $8. They will beautifully decorate your home, office, or mailbox, and make great gifts for friends. Also available are: hot chocolate, soft drinks, hot dogs, homemade chili, candy, fruit, and bread from Stick Boy Bread in Boone and unlimited fun running through the woods and rolling down the hills.
Groups are welcome
Come with your church group, visit our farm, and choose a tree for your sanctuary. It is a great opportunity for your group to enjoy the experience together.
